Privacy Policy
We collect as little as possible, use it only to answer you, and never sell it.

This policy explains what information the Wyoming Alpha chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Wyoming (“we”, “us”, “the chapter”) collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect#
Information you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. Please do not include sensitive personal details such as financial, medical or student record information.
How the contact form works. Messages sent through the contact form are processed by Formspree , a form-handling service, which delivers them to the chapter by email. Formspree stores submissions on our behalf and handles them under its own privacy policy, available on its website.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic technical details for each visit: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser type. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, are not used to identify individual visitors, and are deleted on a regular schedule.
What we don’t collect. This site does not use advertising, tracking pixels, analytics services or third-party cookies, and it loads no third-party scripts or web fonts.
Cookies and local storage#
We do not set cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your own browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
How we use your information#
We use the information you send us only to:
- reply to your question, or route it to the chapter officer best able to help
- share information about recruitment, events or membership you asked about
- keep the website secure and investigate misuse
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with#
Your message is seen only by the chapter officers and alumni advisors responsible for responding to it. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our members, guests or the public.
How long we keep it#
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Photos on this site#
Photos on this site show chapter events and members. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, contact us and we will take it down promptly.
Children’s privacy#
This website is intended for college students, parents, alumni and the University of Wyoming community. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other websites#
This site links to other websites, such as the University of Wyoming, Sigma Alpha Epsilon national headquarters and social media. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.
Your choices#
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just contact us using the details below.
